I'm a comrade now

Leftist thought, specifically Democratic Socialism (Which I don't consider leftist but oh well) as been increasingly more popular as our generation is seeing the affects of late-stage capitalism first hand. It should be pretty obvious to the average person that a change of system is impossible to do by 'voting it away" so why are they rallying up more support than other leftist thoughts?

Obviously, part of it is the fact that people are constantly being fed western propganda. In my opinion, Democratic socialists are making more of change in the average American's views because of how easily marketable and digestable it is. This can also be said for MAGA and right movements in USA.

This post will be me giving my opinion on how we comrades can help more people reach class conciousness.

Like I said, DemSocs and Right-winged views are growing in popularity because they make it easy to understand why you have issues compared to lets say Conflict Theory Imagine a single mother who works 2 jobs and has 3 kids. Tell me which is easier to understand..
Right-wing: I am poor because I dont work as hard as the rich do. MAGA: I am poor because immigrants are coming in illegally to steal jobs and raise house prices DemSoc: I am poor because of some laws I can change by voting Conflict Theory: I am poor because those who own the means of production support inequality since it benefits them.

Now tell me which one of those the hypothetical woman is most likely to understand right off the bat.. Definitely not Conflict Theory, right? To understand Marxist views you'd need to read theory reach and the average working-class person doesn't have time or simply doesn't want to put effort into understanding it. So instead they choose one of the other 3.

Some communists also tend to degrade certain proletariats because their job supports the capitalist system. Even though I agree with many of these views, it pushes the average person away from putting in the effort into understanding Marxist views.
A good example would be a police officer is getting into theory, and then they hear a group of people say "All policeofficers uphold capitalism so all cops are pigs" (I've heard this multiple times) Do you think that cop is going to want to continue putting in effort into theory? No! They aren't!

Those group of people may tell me that why should they withhold their opinions and my answer is this. If your opinion pushes the average person away from understanding what communism is, then don't say it or sugarcoat it. In a world where communism is constantly being bashed why should we give them more reason to? Instead, lets focus on disproving these negative stereotypes about communism and helping our proletariot escape from the chamber that false conciousness is.
